Address to the President of Ukraine by relatives of ORDLO prisoners who were detained before the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine

Dear President of Ukraine!

We are relatives of ORDLO prisoners who were detained before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. We have been fighting for the right of our loved ones to be free for many years! For years, we have been begging you to release our relatives, but we have not been heard by you!

Actions held under the Office of the President of Ukraine, where we appealed to you, as the Guarantor of the rights and freedoms of prisoners of the ORDLO, with a request to release our relatives from many years of captivity, for some reason remained outside your attention!

Our written appeals to you are constantly redirected to the Prisoner Exchange Center and other authorities.

Where has there been information about our relatives for so long, who for many years have not done anything for the release of our relatives.

Our relatives, as before, remain in captivity, despite the replenished exchange fund and the exchanges taking place.

Judging by what is happening, we understand that our relatives were abandoned to their own devices.

Every day we watch your speeches, where you talk about the struggle for the life of every Ukrainian, hoping to hear that our relatives will soon be free. But, unfortunately, this is not about our loved ones, and we cannot understand why this is so, why such an attitude towards prisoners of the ORDLO, who were detained before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.

Weren't they the first to fight against the "Russian world", weren't they the first to defend the independence and freedom of our country?

All these years we have not seen any attempts to save and return them to our families.

 We have repeatedly written to you in our posts through social networks that hordes of captives in correctional colonies may die at any moment due to constant shelling, that they do not have the opportunity to hide in a basement or a bomb shelter, to survive, because they were brewed with iron. But unfortunately, you do not want to hear our requests and entreaties.

Before the full-scale invasion, exchanges were held, which included separatists, rapists, and thieves. Thereby, you deprived the patriots of Ukraine of the opportunity to be free, and now, in the current realities, the POLONI ORDLO have become untimely for you.

Torture, hunger, cold, lack of medical care - all this has been happening in ORDLO prisons for 8 years.

That horror our close people who are in captivity had to face made them weak,helpless and they have no strength left to fight.

Do you think that ORDLO prisons are a resort where you can stay indefinitely?

Now we are hearing about how Ukraine will recover after the war. The country looks into the future and takes steps for this realization.And we, relatives of prisoners, would also like to look into the future and understand whether we and our loved ones have a future - life and freedom!

We and our children live with the hope of seeing our relatives not for a month or two, but for many years!

Understanding that you, as the President of Ukraine, are delaying the release and safety of our relatives - KILLS US!!

We constantly have the question "Why do our President and people who are involved in the process of exchange of prisoners not try to free our relatives, thereby condemning them to a terrible death after so many years of hope for release?".

So far we have only one answer - because you are not fighting for them.

Now we see that those for whom you fought are now free after several months in captivity!

We want to know when it will be your will to liberate our relatives?

Our loved ones are not just a name and a number on a list, which may not be included in the exchange for years. These are our dearest people, they have been in the basements and prisons of ORDLO in a difficult condition for more than 5 years!

Dear Volodymyr Oleksandrovich! We are waiting for your political decisions and decisive actions to return our relatives from the ORDLO torture camps! Civilian prisoners of war, who were detained before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, have the right to be Lobm

We have one dream for all of us - to wait for our relatives be at home after the long-term captivity and hug them after such a long time being apart!

They have been waiting for their release for many years!  They have the right to be free!
